Submit your sitemap to Google

Sitemap picture, photo
Google controls 85% of the global search and any website is heavily dependent on traffic from search result. Submitting your sitemap to Google Webmasters is an important SEO factor. It will let Google know when you are updating your blog and how many URLs are there. We must make sure that all the posts or pages of our blog are indexed by Google. I will tell you how you can submit sitemap for your blog in Google Webmaster Tools.

Here is how to do it:

First sign in to Google Webmasters. Click on your site to view a dashboard page and from the menu on the left side, expand the "Optimization" option and then click Sitemaps.

Click Submit a Sitemap button and it will ask you to enter the sitemap of your blog. The address of your blog will be already there so you just have to add the remaining part which is:

feeds/posts/default?max-results=500

Overall the code would look something like this:

http://www.YOURBLOG.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?max-results=500

Thats's all. It helps Google index your blog more efficiently and ultimately provide more traffic to your site via its search engine.

How to change comment box width and height

how to insert javascript blogspot

This post is about how to change the comment box size!

Go to dashboard > Design > Edit Html > Check - Expand widget templates.
Now search for this code (Ctrl + F):

<iframe allowtransparency='true' class='blogger-iframe-colorize blogger-comment-from-post' frameborder='0' height='410' id='comment-editor' name='comment-editor' src='' width='100%'/>

Change height to any number you want. In this example height is 410px.

Now change width from width='100%' to any value you want but not with % anymore.
For example : width='500px'

Save the template. That's it!

Any problems? Let me know in the comments below and I'll help you!
